Recently a precious and rare Rolex Daytona has been launched with a high price. It is a fake Daytona with lapis lazuli dial that is sold at 25,375,000 HK$. While the estimated price is only HK$ 4,000,000 -8,000,000.
The special Rolex imitation with platinum case creates the new world’s record of Daytona with self-winding mechanical movement. Sotheby’s claims the watch was launched in about 1999 and the movement was Zenith El primero.
Another Daytona was auctioned at a high price too two years ago. It was also a platinum model features a black mother-of-pearl dial. The final price of this precious model was 6,840,000 HK$.
